How to freeze (hold) and unfreeze a container?

From the shipping agent point of view, how could youcontainer when the Deliver Order (DO) or E-DO already released to the forwarding or consignee?

In this case, as long as the container still in the port even the gate pass already collected, you still can liaise with the port to freeze the container.

Is the samething for unfreezing the the frozon container, just email to port control department to unfreeze it.

Note: Northport is using the term "Terminal Hold" for freezing a container.
