PTP = Port of Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd
- one of the two major terminals in Johor (another is Johor Port Berhad)
- 17th most active port in the world ranking
- 18th worlds busies container seaports (2007)
- Handled 5.5m TEUs in year 2007
- 70% owned by MMC Corp Bhd, 30% owned by APM Terminals
- APM Terminals are managing 40 ports worldwide
- MMC Corp Bhd owns 100% stake of Johor Port Bhd (in Pasir Gudang)
- In terms of teus, PTP remains the top port (Westport and Northport are to be treated seperately)
